September 16-   RAPT Puppet Troupe is sponsored by the Rogersville Arts Council and has scheduled the “Snack, Craft, and Puppet Show” Fall quarterly show for September 16 from 2-4pm in the lower bay of the Local Artists Gallery, 124 East Main St.  The theme is safety at Halloween.  
Admission fees are $15 for 2 - 1 child & 1 adult.  Any extra child is $10, any extra adult will be charged at $5.  This fee includes a snack, drink, show and craft.   For more information email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. September 17   5th Annual Poetry & Storytelling concert is the Rogersville Arts Council‘s annual tribute to Doc McConnell, who was featured during the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough and across the country performing storytelling from our area, and acting in the Doc McConnell’s Old Medicine Show.  This year we also honor the late storyteller, Bruce Campbell.  Featured are Tata Andres, Hannah McConnell Gillenwater, Guerry McConnell, Becky Wilder, and Marjorie Sheafer from the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild. There is an open mic for others to share their talents and tributes.  Join us at 2:30pm in the Local Artists Gallery, 124 East Main St

October 14          Halloween Makeup Workshop, 6:30, with an October 1 registration deadline.   Hosted by the Rogersville Arts Council in the Rogersville Playhouse, 1924 East Main Street.  Come learn how to transform your face into a Halloween fantasy!  The two hour workshop will be conducted by a theater makeup artist who works with the Knoxville Opera and UT Opera Theatre.

December 2       Rogersville Christmas Parade line up 3:00 @ Rogersville Middle School/ East Rogersville Church.  Parade starts at 4:00.  Parade theme this year is the “Christmas Blessings” Application available at 423-272-2186.
